Our client, an independent restaurateur with a premier fine dining restaurant is seeking an experienced Executive Chef or Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step to lead the culinary team. The ideal candidate will have the systems and business knowledge to achieve budgeted cost levels as well as the passion and creativity to manage a great specials program in this 100% scratch kitchen. Team spirit and ability to coach and develop the staff are key ingredients for success.
The Executive Chef will report to the owner and will be responsible for all BOH operations. The right candidate must have:
- 5 plus years of kitchen leadership experience
- Strong culinary knowledge and experience in creating daily specials
- Commitment to quality-you are driven to provide the highest quality product and service
- Great organizational and system skills
- Solid sanitation discipline
- Strong work ethic
- Team oriented with a mentoring approach
