WINSOME – The Director will liaise with local and international dignitaries in politics and commerce, and must be magnetic, engaging, and polished. Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills are required, as well as etiquette, tact, and the ability to speak to groups, press, and media on behalf of the company.
BRAND BUILDING – Successful experience taking a proven brand from success in one location to success in multiple international markets is critical to the Director’s success. Candidates must prove they have built and sustained an upscale product line, duplicating success in multiple international markets.
INTERNATIONAL – The Director should have international market experience, preferably in Europe and Asia. The brand is in the process of expanding, therefore the Director must have the ability to launch and grow the business in new markets overseas, be able to travel extensively, and adapt in foreign cultures.
ADMINISTRATOR – The entrepreneurial and development responsibilities are balanced by the need to oversee several department heads in a regulated environment. The proven ability to maintain successful day-to-day operations while driving new revenue streams is essential, as well as the ability to fully develop products and concepts prior to deployment.
FINANCIALLY SAVVY – The Director will be held accountable for budgets, forecasts, and profitability. The ability to create, generate, read, and communicate financial reports and statements is required.
